Non-Resident Fishing and Tresspassing

no_tresspassing_300px.jpg.jpg

During the last several months, we have observed an increased number of non-resident fishing and trespassing violations. In an effort to stop this trend, we have been working with Councilman Michael Schiff and the Sugar Land Police Dept. to establish an effective means of dealing with the occurrences.  We have jointly developed the following action plan.

When residents have a concern regarding a non-resident fishing or trespassing violation, they should

  • Call the Sugar Land Police Dept dispatch at 281-275-2525
  • Identify themselves as an Avalon resident and report the location of the offenders
  • Then, just sit back and let the SLPD do the work

This issue requires each of us to be diligent in our actions in order to deter this type of activity. Therefore, when you observe violators, please call the SLPD so these folks get the message that they are not wanted in our neighborhood.
